I recently had the pleasure to talk with Michael Fancher on his podcast, The MindFit Method. It was a really great talk! Listen on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or iHeart Radio. You can also buy his books at https://www.themindfitmethod.com/

Future Appearances

I am currently making plans with several other podcast hosts to appear on their podcasts. I would be delighted to appear on others, as well as on TV. Please recommend to your favorite host that they invite me to come talk with them!

Additionally, I am happy to work as a freelance writer and am available to write articles for online and print publications.

Would Shannon Gale Be a Good Fit For My Podcast?

Shannon Gale is friendly, polite, well-spoken, cheerful, and smart. She is a captivating guest because she has a wealth of valuable, groundbreaking information along with an optimistic, life-loving attitude.

Who is the Audience for an Interview with Shannon Gale?

Everyone! 20% of people are hypermobile, though many of them may not realize it yet! Most, if not all of them, will experience hypermobility-related symptoms in their lifetimes. In general, hypermobility affects women more often and more severely than men, but men also are affected by the condition. Women frequently have flares of symptoms in relation to fluctuating hormones -- when they go into puberty, have their monthly period, get pregnant, stop breastfeeding, enter perimenopause, or go into menopause.

Hypermobility affects people of all ages. Patients are often misdiagnosed as having anxiety, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and autism, when in fact their problem is hypermobility. Sometimes these or other conditions are comorbid with hypermobility; using the treatments in Hypermobile and Happy frequently reduces the symptoms related to those other conditions even if they are not actually caused by hypermobility.

Children also can be affected. Children are often misdiagnosed as having growing pains, ADHD, anxiety, or, "wanting attention," when in fact their problem is hypermobility.

Shannon speaks American English and, many years ago, was fluent in French following half a year living in Strasbourg, France. She lives in the USA, Eastern Time Zone.

What are the Topics Shannon Gale Will Discuss?

At your request, Shannon will provide suggested interview questions, or she will participate in a spontaneous conversation in which the host presents their own questions on any topic.

There are many overarching subjects to delve into, such as:

What does it mean to be hypermobile?

How can natural treatments affect symptoms of hypermobility-related conditions?

What is it like to have a chronic invisible illness?

Why can doctors not help hypermobile people?

And much more.

How Does Shannon Sound on Audio Recordings?

Shannon grew up with two parents who were both writers (and corrected her grammar incessantly), she became a paid editor for the first time at 8 years old, an award-winning poet at 14 years old, a paid writer for the first time at 16 years old, and she has continued to write and edit her entire life, all of which has given her a masterful hold on the English language, along with impeccable grammar. She is easy to understand and enjoyable to listen to. In fact, following her experience of creating the audiobook narration for Hypermobile and Happy, she is now venturing into the field of audiobook narration and voice-over artistry.

Why Should I Book Shannon Gale to Come on My Podcast?

Shannon Gale is passionate about raising awareness for hypermobility-related conditions and treatments. She has seen so many people suffer for so long, and she has suffered herself; she would truly like to see all of that suffering end. At this point, very few people understand that hypermobility can cause the hundreds of symptoms. Even fewer people know that there are treatments that work to relieve those symptoms. Shannon's appearances on your podcast could change that.
