Products

Most of these products are the specific brands that I have used and liked. In a few cases, the brand I used is not available anymore, so I included one that appears to be identical. However, even the ones that I have liked might have changed in quality, price, or other attributes since when I purchased. So, this list may serve as a starting-off point for shopping, but my hope is that it allows you to get what you need quickly and easily.

Activated Charcoal: Zen Hardwood Activated Charcoal Powder — absorbs toxins, including excess hormones. It can be helpful when taken immediately after exposure to a trigger or allergen, but it is dehydrating, so drink extra water. https://amzn.to/3S6Vgc7

Allergy-Preventing Herb Tea: AllergEase Tea by Health King — I have relieved myself and many clients of seasonal allergies by prescribing them to drink a cup of this tea each day with a spoonful of local, same-season honey. I find it also to diminish MCAS. It includes the herbs scute, astragalus, polygonatum, angelica daburica, polygala, eleuthro, green tea, and jasmine. https://amzn.to/4aaIQHh

Aloe Gel: Seven Minerals Organic Aloe Vera Gel from freshly cut 100% Pure Aloe — for topical use to moisturize skin. https://amzn.to/40AJr3H

Aloe Juice: George’s Aloe Vera Distilled Liquid — an option on the Cusack Protocol to tighten joints. This has been the most helpful supplement for me in strengthening my joints. https://amzn.to/3Uzvz6h

Antacid: Alka Seltzer Gold — reduces MCAS/MCS reactions and indigestion. https://amzn.to/48GafAO

Aspirin: Bayer Baby Aspirin — taking just one every 12 or every 24 hours reduces inflammation because it is a COX inhibitor. https://amzn.to/3Snl7Of

Astragalus Capsules: Oregon's Wild Harvest, Certified Organic Astragalus Capsules — an immune system regulator, included on the Cusack protocol. https://amzn.to/4di1Nu8

Astragalus Tea: Health King Astragalus Immunity Tea — a delicious way to balance the immune system and improve lymph flow. https://amzn.to/3Qpsaoh

B Vitamins: Seeking Health B-Minus this blend contains bioavailable versions of B vitamins that should be better absorbed and tolerated by people with the conditions addressed in this book, but it does not contain B12 or folate, so that you can be more precise with your dosages of those two that may make people feel worse at times or may be needed in higher doses by other people. The B vitamins are important in treating MCAS, Cerebellar Ataxia, and Neuralgia/Neuropathy symptoms. https://amzn.to/3wmXBsz

B1: Pure Encapsulations BenfoMax 90's - 200 mg Benfotiamine - Vitamin B1 Thiamin Supplement. https://amzn.to/3WjNHT6

B12: Methylcobalamin — this is a vegan sublingual spray version of B12 that is safe for people with MTHFR. It increases energy, especially when taken with methylfolate. https://amzn.to/422EaRi

B6: Pure Encapsulations P5P 50 - Active Vitamin B6. https://amzn.to/3QoP8vP

Baking Pan: GreenLife Bakeware Healthy Ceramic Baking Pan — these pans scratch easily, but I still love them. The food slides right off, and there is almost never any scrubbing to clean them. Other sizes and shapes are available, too. https://amzn.to/3SrqvA3

Barefoot Shoes: Carets — barefoot dress shoes for men. www.carets.com

Barefoot Shoes: PedTerra — a website that carries numerous brands of barefoot shoes and offers free shipping and free returns. www.pedterra.com

Barefoot Shoes: Vivobarefoot — barefoot shoes and boots. www.vivobarefoot.com

Barefoot Shoes: Xero Shoes — we especially like their barefoot sandals. www.xeroshoes.com

Bentonite Clay: Aztec Secret Indian Clay — useful in Remineralizing Tooth Powder, Face Mask, Underarm Mask, and more. https://amzn.to/4aetcut

Berberine: Thorne Berberine — a mast cell stabilizer that gave me energy when I first started taking it. https://amzn.to/3WbJrF9

Bioplasma Cell Salts: Hylands Naturals — let one tiny sugar pill melt under your tongue each day to encourage your body to absorb and use minerals more effectively. https://amzn.to/493krT2

Book Opener: TILISMA Book Page Holder - Handmade Natural Walnut Thumb Bookmark — put your thumb through the hole of the simple wooden design, and it will hold the book’s pages open for you without taxing your fingers. https://amzn.to/3Umrl2j

Book Support: The Most Comfortable Way to Read, Hands Free! https://amzn.to/4bqRUt6

Broom: Vietnamese Grass Fan Broom — this broom requires very little effort to use and will keep your pelvis and back safe when they are weak or injured and you still have to clean the floor. You hold the broom with one hand and swing your arm, so you still may need to be cautious of unstable shoulder joints. The brooms don’t last very long, but if you find an Asian store in your town, you will likely find these brooms for just a couple dollars apiece. https://amzn.to/43k26A4

Caffeinated Beverage: Ale 8 One — this is a tasty soda similar to ginger ale, created and sold in Kentucky. It is not the healthiest of my health treatments, but I appreciate that I can drink it as needed; a small bottle contains only 22 mg of caffeine, which is usually the maximum I need for ending a POTS episode. Sometimes I have a little before exercising and then finish the bottle when I have completed my exercise routine. https://amzn.to/4b5yoCf

Caffeine with Electrolytes and L-Theanine: Hydrant Energy 30 Stick Pack, Caffeine & L-Theanine Rapid Hydration Mix. https://amzn.to/3wcdIcm

Cake Pans: P&P CHEF 9½-inch Round Cake Pan Set of 2, Stainless Steel Bakeware Tier Cake Pan Set — you do not want to cook with aluminum, Teflon, or any other material that will leach poisons into your food. I love how the cakes slide right out of these pans. https://amzn.to/3S914Sa

Calcium Carbonate Powder: NOW Foods Supplements, Calcium Carbonate Powder — for the Tooth Powder recipe. https://amzn.to/3CqwIq1

Chelating and Detoxifying Spray: TRS — Toxin Removal System contains nano-zeolites that are able to cross the blood/brain barrier. Thus, it can chelate heavy metals out of the brain, as well as detoxing the entire body. It does not have the risk of redistributing heavy metals within the body the way that most chelation therapies do. However, it is possible for it to create healing crises, so it is wise to join a TRS social media group for thorough advice. https://www.ledamedical.com/product-page/copy-of-saccharomyces-boulardii-60-c

Chi Machines: Daiwa Felicity Original Chi Swing Machine USJ-201 Passive Aerobic Exerciser — get lymph flowing and exercise the body while lying down. I have not used one of these, but I have friends who love them. https://amzn.to/3TwD2m2

Chinese Skullcap: Nutricost Baikal Skullcap — purported to be a mast cell stabilizer and beneficial during some viral infections such as Covid. https://amzn.to/4aUg9PT

Coffee Maker: Cafe Du Chateau Stainless Steel French Press Coffee Maker — this is not the exact brand or style of French Press that I was gifted, but I appreciate that it is all stainless steel and glass, with no plastic. There are many different options available, for making 1 cup of coffee up to 4 cups, and some with very pretty designs and made with different metals, like copper. It is very easy to pour in coffee grounds and boiling water — easier, I think, even than running a typical electric coffeemaker, and easy to clean in the dishwasher. I prefer the taste of the coffee made this way as well. https://amzn.to/48VG7Rd

Collagen: Orgain Hydrolyzed Collagen Peptides Powder — although taking collagen does not cure hEDS, it is typical for people to make less collagen as they age. Since our collagen is already faulty, it doesn’t help us to get depleted. The collagen supplement is really just proteins, which your body will break down in order to use them for making new collagen or whatever else the body deems most important. I do not take a full dose of this collagen, usually just ½ teaspoon or so, and it gives me energy, especially when my diet is low in protein. https://amzn.to/3SqgTp2

Comfrey Oil: Earth Elements Organic Comfrey Oil — I keep a bottle of this by my bed and a bottle in my purse, and sometimes a bottle in the living room. It relaxes muscles, relieves pain, and speeds healing. https://amzn.to/3y5ZsSP

Compression Socks: NEWZILL Cotton-Rich Compression Dress Socks. https://amzn.to/4bhcqvy

D-Ribose: Bulk Supplements D-Ribose Powder — on the Cusack Protocol to reduce fatigue and pain. https://amzn.to/4dx0WWP

DAO (see also Histamine Degrading Enzyme): NaturDAO Enzyme Supplement — helps the body reduce histamine, which may be responsible for Allergy/MCAS/MCS symptoms. It is especially helpful for some people if they take it 5 minutes before a meal, immediately after exposure to an environmental trigger, and at bedtime. https://amzn.to/3QQKpDi

Diatomaceous Earth (DE): Nature’s Wisdom Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth — an optional exfoliator to use with the Oil Cleansing Method. DE is also useful as a safe pesticide, but be careful not to inhale the dust. It is also part of the Cusack Protocol to help with yeast, gastrointestinal symptoms, and more. https://amzn.to/3JZTIgt

Digestive Help: Papaya Enzyme — assists with digestion. https://amzn.to/3UeJONY

Dishwasher Detergent: Biokleen Automatic Dishwashing Powder Detergent, Concentrated. https://amzn.to/4feIm5V

Dryer Balls: Handy Laundry Wool Dryer Balls — I have not used this particular brand; many brands are available. You can also felt your own with raw wool. If you are allergic to wool, you may want to try plastic dryer balls or balls of aluminum foil; both of those options may contain poisonous chemicals, but they are not as bad as dryer sheets or liquid fabric softener. You only need dryer balls if you are washing synthetic fabrics or down-filled items; if you are washing only natural fabrics like cotton, you will not get static cling. https://amzn.to/4azJxL9

Ear Plugs: Vibes High Fidelity Earplugs and FLARE Calmer Soft Earplug Alternative — I have not tried these. There are many different types of noise-filtering ear plugs and a variety of other ear plugs that have differing effects as to how they fit and what noises they diminish and to what extent. These would be among the first I would try. https://amzn.to/42qkGWP and https://amzn.to/3SJoEXp

Earthing Therapy Patches: Earthing Grounding Patches — products for making an electrical connection between your body and the ground. Apply one directly to an injured area to decrease inflammation. https://amzn.to/4aFvdjY

Earthing Tester: Grounding Continuity Tester with 15 Foot Cord — use this to make sure that your earthing product works, or when earthing outside, make sure that you are in effective contact with the ground. https://amzn.to/43YH0aZ

Elderberries: Frontier Co-Op Organic Dried Elderberries — use these in the bonus recipe for Elderberry Syrup in Appendix A. https://amzn.to/3wYYIPi

Electric Shock Wristband: EmeTerm Fashion Electrode Stimulator Wrist Bands — reduces nausea from any cause. https://amzn.to/48B2ko4

Electrolytes: Body-Bio Electrolytes — I used this for many years, appreciating that they do not have flavor added. However, their blend of electrolytes is not ideal for me, and I don’t love that it is a liquid stored in a plastic bottle. https://amzn.to/3HoFt38

Electrolytes: Hydrant Hydrate, Individual Hydration Electrolyte Powder Stick Packets — these are currently my favorite electrolytes. I do not love that they contain either sugar or xylitol (depending on which flavor you choose), but they make me feel so much better that I have decided to use them. At first, I did not love their flavors, but I have come to enjoy them, especially Fruit Punch. I drink one every day. Note that these contain citric acid, which may be problematic for some people with MCAS. https://amzn.to/3SJgLAZ

Epsom Salts: Amazon Basics Epsom Salt Soak — Epsom salts are also readily available at your local grocery store, but be careful because sometimes Epsom salts are fragranced and the scent is not always written predominantly on the bag. Use these to relax muscles and prevent acne on the body. https://amzn.to/3S4Y1KQ

Evening Primrose Oil: Cliganic Organic Evening Primrose Oil — popularly used by women to reduce wrinkles, evening primrose oil (EPO) is also beneficial to the nervous system. EPO is also sold in capsules to be taken internally, but I have not tried that yet. I apply this oil to joints where a nerve compression or strain has occurred and to the path of the nerve where I am experiencing neuropathic symptoms, and it quickly reduces the symptoms. https://amzn.to/3UxiEBW

Eye Mask: Mulberry Silk Sleep Eye Mask & Blindfold with Elastic Strap/Headband. https://amzn.to/3UEnBIY

Fertility Monitoring: Fairhaven Health Fertile Focus Ovulation Test Kit — use saliva to find out when you are about to ovulate. This lipstick-sized microscope with a built-in light is an easy, inexpensive, non-intrusive way of keeping track of your ovulation cycle. https://amzn.to/3VhXCrG

Finger Protectors: Medsuo 2pcs Stainless Steel Finger Guards for Cutting — useful for chopping vegetables when you are feeling clumsy. https://amzn.to/3Hlviwv

Floss Picks: Bambo Earth Natural Dental Floss Picks. https://amzn.to/3JfcyQ9

Floss Picks Individually Wrapped: Floss Guys Premium Unflavored Compostable Floss Picks — these are great for keeping in your purse, backpack, or vehicle. https://amzn.to/4cQmOfg

Folate: Methylfolate — these are delicious and give me energy. It is safe for and recommended for people with MTHFR. https://amzn.to/3U3sSdy

Food Storage: Pyrex Meal Prep Simply Store Glass Rectangular and Round Food Container Set. https://amzn.to/3U8wQBr

Fulvic and Humic Acid: Fulvic Humic Acid Ionic Trace Minerals with Electrolytes Liquid Supplement — this liquid is easily added to tea and actually improves the taste of it, or it can simply be dropped into the mouth. The biggest difference I noticed while using fulvic and humic acid with trace minerals was significantly healthier skin, fingernails, and hair. https://amzn.to/3xNZIFY

Gua Sha: Sinikoro Gua Sha Facial Tool - Natural Jade Stone — a tool for scraping the skin according to the Traditional Chinese Medicine practice. It will increase blood flow. https://amzn.to/3Hrd9gQ

Glucosomine/Chondroiton: 21st Century Glucosamine Chondroitin 500/400mg — on the Cusack Protocol for the teeth. https://amzn.to/44nh4G2

Hairspray: AZ’s Own Hairspray — the ingredients are simply distilled water, prickly pear plant extract, and citric acid (and you can ask for it without the citric acid if you are sensitive to it). It gives the hair a nice texture. You can spray on the hairspray and then brush your hair, and it looks beautiful with no fly-aways. However, in my experience in a humid environment, it lasts for only a couple hours before it needs to be reapplied. http://azsungoldsoaps.com/mobile/order/samples/products_hairspray.html

Handkerchiefs: 100% Cotton Handkerchiefs with Scalloped Edges and Floral Print. https://amzn.to/44chpuZ

Hayaluronic Acid: Amazing Formulas Hyaluronic Acid — on the Cusack Protocol to support the eyes. https://amzn.to/4dfsGyN

Headache Relief: Zok Device — regulates pressure in the head and helps the ear to drain. https://amzn.to/3HnmRAO

Heart Rate Monitor: Polar H10 Heart Rate Monitor Chest Strap — I have not used this before; it has good reviews both on Amazon and in articles online. There are a variety of styles of heart-rate monitors available, including sleeves and watches. https://amzn.to/499fbxD

Heating Pad: Sunbeam XL Heating Pad with Sponge for Moist Heating Option — this is not exactly the model I have, but I have been using my Sunbeam heating pad for about 30 years. I have not tried the moist heat sponge; I would imagine that one of the cotton canvas moist heat pads that you boil on the stove would work better, though be inconvenient. https://amzn.to/4dcOzi8

Herbal Healing Oil: Earth Elements Organic Comfrey Oil — comfrey, also known as “bone knit,” is effective at quickly healing and reducing pain in body tissues. Apply it to the skin at the site of the injury. It is meant to be used daily during healing, but not typically for daily use. https://amzn.to/3TDV4D9

Histamine Degrading Enzyme (see also DAO): Histamine Digest – these pills contain the Diamine Oxidase (DAO) enzyme that helps the body rid itself of excess histamine; taken 15 minutes before a meal, immediately after an environmental trigger, and at bedtime, they can potentially prevent or reduce MCAS symptoms. https://amzn.to/3WvIqHY

Homeopathic Remedies: Boiron Homeopathic Remedies — these pills are safe and helpful. They come in little bottles that dispense one pill at a time with a twist of the lid. These do contain dairy, so if you need vegan, search and you will find a dairy-free version. https://amzn.to/49S8LTS

Diarrhea: Diaralia. https://amzn.to/47tGzFm

Insoles: Cork Insoles for Men and Women — they absorb sweat and scents and provide just a little bit of natural cushioning. I like to buy them a size too big and cut them with scissors down to the shape of my shoe. These are flat, do not have arch supports, and are flexible, so they are appropriate for barefoot/minimalist shoes. https://amzn.to/3PYfpAD

Ionizer: Wein AS300 Personal Air Purifier - Rechargeable — Ionizers neutralize fragrances, other Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), and even bacteria and viruses that are in the air. This one is easily wearable and creates a little atmosphere of safe air around your face. It is indispensable for me when I am sensitive to fragrances and desire to go into public. https://amzn.to/3OmbfSo

Jars: Cornucopia 2oz Cobalt Blue Glass Jars w/Metal Lids — I use these for a lot of the little potions I mix up, like the bentonite clay face mask or underarm mask. I also use them for carrying with me small amounts of refined organic shea butter and remineralizing tooth powder. https://amzn.to/49oQlua

Jar Opener: 5 in 1 Multi Function Can Opener Bottle Opener Kit with Silicone Handle. https://amzn.to/3Sz2S8I

Jojoba Oil: Handcraft Blends Organic Jojoba Oil — I actually do not like jojoba oil, but scientific studies have shown that it is one of the more effective oils for repairing the skin barrier. https://amzn.to/3VkZUEY

Kinesiology Recovery Tape: KT Tape — this cotton-and-elastic kinesiology recovery tape can be used in place of a brace or on body parts that cannot be braced to stabilize joints. Physical Therapists are trained to apply KT Tape correctly. If you have some experience with it, you may be able to follow YouTube videos to tape yourself. Before using it to stabilize a joint, test for skin sensitivity to the adhesive by applying a small piece of tape for a short amount of time and then increasing the time. https://amzn.to/47YF0zy

L-Arginine: THORNE L-Arginine Sustained Release — on the Cusack Protocol to reduce fatigue and improve the health of the lungs, heart, eyes, and ears. https://amzn.to/3UH63fG

Laundry Detergent: Charlie’s Soaps Laundry Powder, Unscented. https://amzn.to/3AwfaIG

Lion’s Mane Mushroom: Host Defense Lion’s Mane Mushroom — on the Cusack Protocol to reduce stress and social anxiety. https://amzn.to/3UEQuFh

Lymph Supporting Herbs: Cedar Bear Lymphatic Cleanse Immune Support Supplement — these drops contain Red Root Bark, Echinacea Purpurea Root, Elderberry, Plantain Leaf, Graviola Leaf, Blue Vervain Herb, Yarrow Leaf/Flower, Myrrh Oleo-Gum-Resin, Thyme Leaf, USP Grade Vegetable Glycerin and Purified Water; the glycerin is said to be made from palm oil. https://amzn.to/3TS76aW

Magnesite Stones: Natural Magnesite Rough Stones — these are an inexpensive, comfortable, and safe way of getting magnesium and reducing muscle tension, cramps, spasms, and twitches. Place a stone inside your underwear, bra, or a sweatband so that it is against your skin, and your body can absorb the amount of magnesium it needs all throughout the day. According to numerous clients at my holistic center, a stone inside your sock can help with restless leg syndrome. If you do crystal healing, these stones offer a very calming and purifying sensation. https://amzn.to/42pdkD5

Magnesium: BodyBio - Liquid Magnesium — this worked really well for me when I needed magnesium without other minerals. It is easy to control your dose, it is nearly tasteless but makes water taste a little bit sweet (when you need magnesium), and it is gentle. https://amzn.to/4bawDms

Magnesium Flakes: Ancient Minerals Magnesium Bath Flakes — these are wonderfully powerful; I always feel my muscles relax and my anxiety melt away after a bath with magnesium flakes. For me, they are worth the greater expense than Epsom salts. Also, you can mix a small amount of them with a tiny bit of water in a jar to make Magnesium Oil, which you can rub on your skin when you have tight muscles or stress. Be aware that if you are severely deficient in magnesium, the Magnesium Oil will make your skin burn, and it is hard to wash off, so test with a very small amount at first; you will need to supplement with oral magnesium to get your levels up first. If you are not deficient in magnesium, Magnesium Oil sprayed on the skin feels like a mist of water that relaxes you. https://amzn.to/3HrNIvn

Magnesium Malate: Source Naturals Magnesium Malate — a form of magnesium that is well absorbed, reduces pain, and is gentle on the digestive system. https://amzn.to/44mPmZO

Maitake Mushroom: Host Defense Maitake Mushroom Capsules — an option on the Cusack Protocol. https://amzn.to/3WldYQT

Motion Sickness Wristbands: Sea Bands — wrist bands that use acupressure to reduce nausea. https://amzn.to/3tT4hND

Multivitamins: Smarty Pants — these are not necessarily the best vitamins for you to take because they contain synthetic vitamins and sugar and they are gummies, which can stick to the teeth, but everything else about them is good — including their taste. I can’t make myself take most vitamins — even whole-food vitamins bother me — but I enjoy these and they make me feel better, whereas all of the other vitamins have stuck in my throat and/or upset my stomach. (I have recently discovered some new brands of whole food organic gummy vitamins to try, and I will update the vitamin link on my website if I find a product I like better than Smarty Pants.) This link is for the prenatal version, but they also have other types. https://amzn.to/3OaHYdw

It also regulates blood pressure and blood glucose levels and prevents cancer. It is very powerful, and in many cases, it will only be needed for 10 days; it is not recommended to take it for more than 3 months at a time. https://amzn.to/3OxpILh

Probiotic: Culturelle Probiotic — recommended on the Cusack protocol to help the digestive system. https://amzn.to/3HkFUeX

Rebounder/Mini Trampoline: BCAN 40/48" Foldable Mini Trampoline. https://amzn.to/4b14wH2

Red Ball: GoSports Playground Balls for Kids — these balls work well for the Red Ball Exercises. Resistance Bands with Handles: WHATAFIT Resistance Bands Set, Exercise Bands with Door Anchor, Handles — these work great for doing pull overs (but make sure you hook it onto the doorway according to directions or else it will come down on your face and it hurts — don’t ask me how I know). https://amzn.to/3OawB5k

Riboflavin: Thorne Riboflavin 5'-Phosphate — this is a bioactive form of Vitamin B2, supportive of nervous system health. https://amzn.to/49srRQ1

Ring Splints: Arthritis EDS finger splint adjustable — I bought this one because it was affordable and adorable, with a little heart on it. It is adjustable and has really been doing the trick to protect my finger joint. I am sure there are other designs and makers of good quality ring splints, and this link will get you to Etsy where they will be shown to you. Ring splints are available through other sites as well. You may also be able to have a Physical Therapist fit you in ring splints that will be paid for by your health insurance, and with the PT’s help, you can be assured that you are choosing a design and fit that helps and doesn’t harm. https://www.etsy.com/listing/752986696/splint-ring-silver-925-sterling-silver?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=heart+ring+splint&ref=sr_gallery-1-20&pro=1&frs=1&content_source=d4f2402a0901ddea1fcbeda34cc62a375ba16aee%253A752986696&search_preloaded_img=1&organic_search_click=1

Rolling Chair: Saddle Stool Chair with Backrest and Foot Ring, Ergonomic Rolling — rolling chair for working in the kitchen; I haven’t tried it but I have heard that people with hEDS love it. https://amzn.to/3HJiS1p

Rose Geranium Hydrosol: Skincare Guardian Rose Geranium Hydrosol — useful as an insect repellant (ticks, mosquitoes, chiggers), as well as for toning the skin of the face. It has a nice smell that isn’t too strong, and the sale page indicates that it has many more healing benefits as well. https://amzn.to/3x0Flp3

Salt: REDMOND Real Sea Salt - Natural Unrefined — this is the salt I use for all my cooking. It contains trace minerals and is not contaminated like many sea salts can be. https://amzn.to/3vAoNDd

Shea Butter: Mountain Rose Organic Refined Shea Butter — this organic refined shea butter has no scent and is a very nice moisturizer for hands, lips, face, and body. https://mountainroseherbs.com/refined-shea-butter

Soap: Arizona Sungold Level H High Suds Liquid Soap Shampoo — I use this soap for everything, including washing hands, bodies, dishes, floors, and anything soap is used for. I love it for all of those purposes. I also use it for shampoo because I haven’t found a better option for myself, but I do not really like it for that purpose. http://azsungoldsoaps.com/mobile/order/liquid/products_shampoo.html

Snow Boots: Manitobah Mukluks — this brand is high quality, very comfortable and warm, available in children’s, women’s and men’s sizes in a variety of styles. I have the Waterproof Snowy Owls and can’t imagine better boots for wearing to forest school all winter. https://amzn.to/3W7zFnu

Stinging Nettle: FGO Organic Nettle Leaf Loose Tea. https://amzn.to/3Unh6Jt

Toe Separators: Star Han Yoga Gym Sports Five Toe Separator Massage Foot Alignment Socks — these can help release tight muscles and fascia in the feet and help heal Bunions. There are many other toe separating socks, shoes, and devices available, but these are the only ones I tried and they were sufficient and comfortable for me. https://amzn.to/3ICd3Dn

Toilet Stool: Squatty Potty Original Bathroom Stool — a stool that goes around your toilet so that you can sit in the best position for evacuating the bowels. Although a wood one is nice in an adult’s bathroom, the plastic stool is probably easier to clean. https://amzn.to/4aRQjvg

Tongue Scraper: HealthandYoga SteloSwipe Tongue Cleaner — made of stainless steel. https://amzn.to/4cMp5bv

Toothbrushes: Bass Toothbrushes — these have a small number of soft bristles and short handles to help you brush your teeth gently to prevent damaging the gums. Although I usually want everything to be all-natural, plastic-free, I found that my oral mucosa was too fragile to use the bamboo version of these toothbrushes. https://store.orawellness.com/products/bass-toothbrush?variant=31237245841

Trace Minerals: ION* Gut Support — just take a drop or two a day, and this expensive bottle will last a long time. https://amzn.to/49Dzaoj

Vagus Nerve Stimulator: Ear Clip Electrode Wire for TENS Vagus Stim and CES Device — I have not used this, though I have heard people get good results with ear clip stimulation. You hook this up to a TENS unit for the electrical power; the TENS unit is not included. https://amzn.to/4cpH3jQ

Vagus Nerve Supporting Nutritional Supplement: Parasym Plus — This supplement contains acetylcholine, which is integral to the operation of the nervous system, including the Vagus Nerve. It was recommended to me by Sterling Cooley of Vagus Nerve Stimulation and Repair. When I started taking it, I felt that it did make a difference, but I soon hit a plateau in improvement and did not notice any problems when I stopped taking it. I do take it whenever a Joint Injury causes strain or compression of a nerve, as recognized by symptoms of pain, weakness, and itching along the nerve pathway, and my experience is that the injury seems to heal more quickly than without the supplement. However, it may exacerbate Dystonia, which can be caused by overactive nerves, since this supplement will increase the nerves’ power. You can measure the Vagus Nerve’s health by measuring your Heart Rate Variability (the difference in heart rate between resting and exercising — the greater the difference, the better) — see the link for Heart Rate Monitor. https://amzn.to/484v0VF

Vibrating Massager: Wahl Deep Tissue Corded Long Handle Percussion Massager — this is a really powerful massager that my muscles love. You may need a gentler one for some purposes, though. https://amzn.to/3U5y4xm

Vibration Plate: LifePro Hovert 3D Vibration Plate Machine — get lymph flowing and develop an exercise routine that gets faster results, especially for building core strength. Although these can be dangerous for particularly vulnerable joints, I have read that Physical Therapists get great results for their patients with them. My mother and a friend have used this one. https://amzn.to/3UxvHmT

Vitamin C: Revitalize Wellness Fine Powder Ascorbic Acid — you can mix this into a drink to take it. It is a high quality ascorbic acid; the company also has other Vitamin C offerings. https://revitalizewellness.org/products/vitamin-c-as-ascorbic-acid-16oz-fine-powder

Vitamin C Sucker: YumEarth Organic Vitamin C Pops — for the times when I’ve taken more pills than I can stand. Vitamin C suckers travel well, are easy and enjoyable to take, are appropriate for children, and slightly help reduce Allergy/MCAS/MCS reactions for me, despite the sugar in them. https://amzn.to/4a06BBz

Vitamin C With Bioflavanoids: THORNE Vitamin C - Blend of Vitamin C and Citrus Bioflavonoids from Oranges. https://amzn.to/4bisYmX

Water Bottle: Lifefactory 16-Ounce BPA-Free Glass Water Bottle with Classic Cap and Protective Silicone Sleeve. https://amzn.to/3TDiW9N

Water Filter: Aquasana SmartFlow Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System — This is an under-sink system that stores the water in a stainless-steel tank, and the dispensing spout is stainless steel as well. The filter (which is not made of coconut like most water filters) removes up to 99.99% of fluoride, arsenic, chlorine, and lead, and it comes with a remineralizer so that you get what you need out of your water. There is also a Water for Life subscription so that your replacement filters will be sent to you automatically when it is time to replace them. There is some plumbing required for installing this filter. It is a little bit difficult to change the filters until you get the hang of it, but the customer service is very good. This company also offers a number of other water filtration options. https://amzn.to/43m3qSZ

Water Flosser: Waterpik Aquarius Water Flosser. https://amzn.to/3RTLidI

Weights: Amazon Basics Neoprene Coated Hexagon Workout Dumbbell Hand Weights. https://amzn.to/3VlXvuR

Xylitol Powder: NOW Foods, Organic Xylitol — for the tooth powder recipe. Some people recommend putting it through the food processor to turn these granules into a more powder-like form, but I find that it is acceptable as-is in the tooth powder. https://amzn.to/48DyuQJ

Yoga Ball: THERABAND Exercise Ball, Professional Series Stability Ball —I lean backwards over this ball to stretch my chest and relieve Thoracic Outlet Syndrome and Rib Subluxations. You may need a different size depending on the size and flexibility of your body. Be careful not to instigate a POTS episode when you lean back. You can also sit on this ball and bounce if you’re not able to stand on a mini-trampoline and jump. https://amzn.to/3O79qbZ
